Colombia-born R&B singer Kali Uchisreleases her debut album. It's titledIsolationand boasts quite an impressive list of special guests. This new LP features contributions from Tame Impala leader Kevin Parker, Thundercat, BadBadNotGood, The Dap-Kings, JorjaSmith, BootsyCollins, and Steve Lacy of The Internet. The record also sees Uchisreuniting with past collaborators in Gorillaz and Blur member Damon Albarnand Tyler, the Creator. Of the 15 tracks, a few have already been released as early singles, includingAfter the StormandTyrant. Isolationfollows Uchis' 2012 mixtape,Drunken Babble, and herPor Vida EPfrom 2015. It also comes after she just wrapped up up a tour alongside Lana Del Rey.
